I want to change the position of Label of a cyclic group used in my bar chart.

Hi,

May be try this..

Do you have any other dimension in your chart? if so, Try to make your Cyclic Group as Last Dimension..

or, if you have only the Cyclic Group as Dimension, Create a dummy dimension, and Move your Cyclic Group dimension to Last.

not sure whether you can do this but try editing the dimension order and resizing by Ctrl+Shift

Hi Swamy..One way it is working ..I can move the label with dummy dimension to top side(cannot move any where). However I'm missing legend in my x-axis..

Hi Chinna,

i think there is no direct way to do that.

May be try to create the New Cyclic (with same fields). And your dimension should be like below

Dim1 : '' (Dummy Dimension)

Dim2 :

=if(GetCurrentField([New Group])<>GetCurrentField([New Group1]),$(=GetCurrentField([New Group1])),[New Group])

Dim3:

New Group1

Check the Attachment.

I think changing the Cyclic group icon position it is not possible in dimensions, but we can do it for expressions...

Hi,

If you do like this when you export the chart to Excel you will get the dummy column too? Is that OK? For changing the position why should we make the chart very difficult? Instead Create buttons or list box based on the selection display the dimension in the chart.

Thanks all for your replies. What I did is, I changed the style of my bar chart. Just changed the bar graph style from vertical bars to horizontal bars and that moved the cyclic icon from the bottom right corner to top left corner . Problem solved
