How to Partially Load data from the External file??

Hi All,

In my Expense management Qlikview Document there are three tables

Users
Expense Report
Expense Report Entries.

E.g. Entries Table Data

User ID	Report ID	Entry ID	Date	Amount
1	11	111	09-01-2015	1000
2	12	112	09-18-2015	2000
3	13	113	09-27-2015	2200
4	14	114	10-01-2015	2300
5	15	115	10-15-2015	1000
6	16	116	11-13-2015	2000
7	17	117	11-22-2015	2200
8	18	118	11-23-2015	2300
9	19	119	11-24-2015	2589

Now I want to load data Month wise and store into one table.

Something like this.

Entries:

Load

User ID,

Report ID,

Entry ID,

Date,

Amount

From Expense.xlsx where Month = September;

Concatenate

Load

User ID,

Report ID,

Entry ID,

Date,

Amount

From Expense.xlsx where Month = October;

Concatenate

Load

User ID,

Report ID,

Entry ID,

Date,

Amount

From Expense.xlsx where Month = December;

Please help me out in this.

Try this:

for i = 1 to 12

Expenses:

Load

[User ID],

[Report ID],

[Entry ID],

Date,

Amount

From <file>

where text(date(Date,'M')) = '$(i)';

store Expenses into <folder>\<archive>_$(i).qvd (qvd);

Drop table Expenses;

next;
