      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In our Dashboard we have splitted the Master date to Month year day and time and dropped the master date.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need to create a from date and to date using the same month year day and time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I have only date I followed approach used in this video and was able to achieve it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/thread/67712"&gt;Selecting Arbitrary Date Ranges&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But after splitting the date I am not able to do the same.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help me &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Muthu&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi muthu,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As settu mentioned you can use makedate() function to get the date. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For start date and enddate try this and let us know. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Eg:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MasterTable:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Load *&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; MonthStart(Date) As StartDate,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; MonthEnd(date) As EndDate;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Load Month, Year, Day, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Makedate(Year, Month, Day) As Date&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From &amp;lt;YourTableName&amp;gt; ;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Try this and let us know if it works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;V.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
