There are many meta-data within the xml-header from qvd and qvw available and also various log-files and there are already tools for this:

Hi Marcus. We already use the Governance tool, but it not show information that I need.

I need to build a matrix where I can follow what QVD files are generated by a QVW file, and what QVW use and specific QVD, find orphan QVD files and follow size growing of each one.

I hope somebody can guide where I can find the correct tool.

I don't know if any other tool this already covered but the informations itself are available. Each qvd contained the information which qvw had created them and to log the filesizes and number of records or something else you could use a loop through your files and folders per dirlist/filelist (have a look within the help by for each - there is a very good example of this).
