Qlikview Sever Installation

Dear Community,

I have installed qlikview sever in my machine without specifying the username and password (By checking the check box "I want to specify the account to be used for the services later.") and i can able to open the management console.

Now, I want to specify the user how can I give username and password?

I also want to provide the license but it is giving an error massage like, "failed to connect to server".

Please let me know how can I get rid of this?

Note: I have already done the required restarts.

Go to the Log On tab of the Windows Service Qlikview Server and enter the details.

Since you did not provide the account during the installation, the QlikView Server service couldn't start and hence the failed to connect message.

You'll need to go into the Windows Services and enter the account details as described by Bill. Once the services are running, you can go into the QlikView Management Console and enter your license.
