Hi all,

I want to know about how to extract data from SAP Data base.

For Example :

Have a report in In SAP.

1>>>If i want extract that entire report, what i have to do ?

2>> If i want extract that limited fields in it ( report,), what i have to do ?

3>>What is Variant in SAP?

Can any one tell me step by step from Connecting onwards up to extraction.

Hi,

there is a dedicated SAP_connector by Qlik which should help you get the data.

Or you have a look at the webSite of a company called dab (not the brewery), they have sth to extract csv_files which you can load into QlikView just as easily.
