QV Plugin and Server compatability

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any any compatability issues with having a plugin version different to that of the server version?

We have server version 11 sr2 but tried to upgrade the plugin to 11 sr10, access point is now not recognising the plugin. Is this a common problem whereby the versions should always match?

Yes,

This is Known thing.

Your pluggin must match with your server version.

Better you upgrade your server to latest version.

Hi Brendan,

newer plugin version should be compatible with a prior SR, however the more versions the difference (8 in your case), the more chance there may be issues between them.

It is always recommended to keep the server and plugin aligned
