Using Master Item to create another Master Item

HI community,

I´m having some difficulties trying to understand how we can create a new Item Master using an existing one. In Qlik Sense, let say that I have an Item Master called Cost and another one called Sales. In order to create a new one called Margin, what is the right syntax (if is possible) to do that?

Hello Diego,

Currently that is not possible but is on the roadmap. We we would refer to that as nested expressions. You can do this in the Data Load Editor at the data model level when entered with script. You can use LET statements and a combination of variables to do so. Would love to get a response to this as well. It makes a whole lot of sense to add.
