Hi Tom, this sounds it would be easier with QlikSense than with Qlikview. I'm afraid as far as I know, that what you want it's not possible (or at least not easy) to do it on Qlikview.

Hope it helps.

Andrés

Hi Guys,

I have inherited few dashboards (among other things ;)) when taking over QlikView env. I am fairly new to QlikView and until now I worked with NPrinting based 'dashboards' exclusively.

Because of requests I got I am trying to figure out an easy way to enable users to create 'drag and drop' reports (through QlikView Server web interface). We already have a 'report-creator' kind of dashboard, but it is hellishly complex and adding new dimensions or metrics will not be easy.

End result would be - a dashboard accessed through 'Access Point' with predefined datasource, but no predefined layout (or a table that the users can easily modify).

I know I can build a predefined set of reports and they can reorder the columns. But is there a way for the users to drag dimensions from repository to existing grids? Or something like that?

Thank you,

Tom

That what I was afraid of. I will look into QlikSense Enterprise - version 2.2 seems to bring a lot on the table. Will try ot update once I will evaluate it. Thanks!
