Assign color range in chart

Hello,

I have a situation where I've got a bar chart with two dimensions, Name and Month. I'm color coding the bars based on region (North, South, East, West). There are no more than three names per region. I'd like to be able to assign a color range, say, of light blue to dark blue (Colors 1,2, and 3 for example), to the region "North". I'd like to do this to avoid having to assign a specific color (Color(1), Color(2) etc.) to a region and name.

I'd like to do this to keep manual maintenance of the dashboard to a minimum - otherwise, updates will be needed when employees change over time.

Does anyone know if something like this is possible?
