Can we save Front-end summaries without Help of Macro

Hi,

Whether we can save the Pivot Tables, Straight tables created on Front-end without using a macro in a excel file on a specified path, with set analysis or any other formula been a calculated column in expression. Just to describe in detail I am attaching a little bit simple application created where only simple set analysis is used but can I save the summary of this in a excel file without using a Macro.

Please suggest any alternative way..it is might be possible expression can be more complex as well. Main purpose of asking this is most organisations are not comfortable in macro being used to export tables once application put on scheduler...

Click on the XL icon in the caption of the straight table. Or right click the straight table and choose the Send to Excel option from the context menu.

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion.

But, After development I will put application on a scheduler for a Monthly run, so manual intervention is not possible.

Any other way..please suggest.

Hi,

I think one of the easiest way to solve your problem is NPrinting: it can export data from QlikView to Excel without using macros. You can export Qlikview chart as is or you can made your own excel export template with a intuitive excel based editor. After you can shedule QlikView activities with tasks: for instance the first could be a data reload so your QlikView document is update, the second could be the export to excel filtered and sended via email or saved to specific folder.

You can try NPrinting for free with your QlikView documents.

Means easiest solution is NPrinting but just for my knowledge whether without NPrinting can we do within qlik script.
