Bookmark Question

Hi All,

How can i create a bookmark which excludes the same list of elements all the time even though the field elements changes or increases . For example see attached excel sheet if you see the one in grey color is my exclusion list of elements. Even though tomorrow if the customer group field elements increases my Bookmark should exclude the same list in grey color. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it will behave the way you are expecting even though field elements increases/decreases.

Satish, Thank you for your response. Its not happening like that, if tomorrow my list of elements increase then my exclusion list is having the new elements in them. If i missing anything, can you please email me any sample QVW file which you have done it. Thanks for your help in advance.

You can use a search in the field to exclude your customers. Then store this search as bookmark.

Even when you add new customers, the search will still filter on your condition.

Just click on the caption of the list box and start typing.

Use one of the search modes:

The Search String

Apply the search to filter you current data. The current selection box should show your search string, not the selected values.

Now create a bookmark from your current selection.

If i use Wildcard search it is searching for the customer group i have searched. For example if i want Millwork , Skyrun it is not able to find. Please correct me if i am doing anything wrong and sorry to ask you the same question again and again...

Not sure I understand what you are telling me.

Could you just post the search string you are using to exclude the values from your sample data you posted in a previous post and indicate what is not working as expected when you are creating the bookmark?
