Hi

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere .......

We use GIT for our version control. It is good practice to do a file reduction to eliminate data - to both save space and to prevent cross environment contamination. Macro code has been written to maintain "Always one selected value" listbox properties.

Rather than relying on developers to do this manually has anyone come up with a clever way to automate this ? I am particularly interested in GIT Tortoise pre-commit hooks that can catch QVW files over a certain size.

I did experiment with scripting QV.EXE / R / NODATA but I wasn't able to find a way to save the file. The batch script just exited with no changes saved.

NB Using XML imports/exports is not an option - we want to keep things simple and just use QVW files in GIT.

Thanks

Andrew.
