My users want to display a single chart from their QV app, on a monitor on the wall of an office, as a 'non-interactive' display.

The request is to have that chart 'rotate' through its dimensions every 30-60 seconds.

So, my question is, how best to approach this ?

My background is in Javascript, and I am thinking how easy this would be to do, if it wasn't for the QV part of the equation

I have NO idea if there is a standard or recommended approach to this in the QV world.

Any pointers appreciated.

Many Thanks

Simon

Thanks for that, but this is changing the sheet displayed.

Admittedly, I could use it, but was rather looking for a mechanism to change the filter applied on a single sheet.

Create 1 sheet, maintain 1 sheet.

Also, I might have future plans to trigger other actions from the filter.

Any suggestion welcome

Actually I also could not get the timer situation to work.

On my laptop in design mode, the timer would change only when I clicked on the sheet surface, would not tick on it's own.

In WebView mode, nothing happened at all, totally static.

It's possible if I could get a timer to work as intended by your post, I could look into seeing if I could hook it up to a filter. As it is, no joy.

Worth a shot though
