One or Two Dimension are enough for a better representation.

1.In Line for clear representation you can use a max of 2 dimension

2.You can still use more than 2 dimension but it may look clumsy and you will be not able to recognise the values properly

3.The limitation is the width of the display. If you have a wider display, you will see more points.

i.e if you have around 100 data points or values and if your chart area is less than LINE chart won't display all the data points in that ...it will display only certain values of that , in order to avoid that go

Presentation tab, set a Max Visible number (e.g. 80) and turn on the Show X-Axis Scrollbar option.
