Qlik sense license migration from test server to production

Dear All

I have Qlik license in the test server now., need to migrate into into Production server.

For Migrating License test to production how can i clear Existing test qlik sense server license ? Or Can i use this single license in two machines ? If used means what will happen?

Kindly provide the solution

Hi,

First of all Test License is different than Production License. Several features will not work in Test License eg: All charts will have water mark saying "TEST", license lease etc.

If you are using same license in 2 different machines or for 2 servers, then one of the server will go down.

Not recommended to use same license in 2 machines.

Hi,

I think simply entering the Production license and Click Update License from Server will update the Test to Production Server. The functionalities are tied to License and not installation (.exe) file

It is production license only.. But the Hardware side planning to change the machine. so no way Qlik sense also need to migrate.

I have production license.. just i need to change license from one server to another server. In qlik View we have option like clear license in licensing tab QMC to clear the existing license and move it to another server and use the same license. But in Qlik sense no such option how to achieve that.

where can I find specific documentation about Sense Tesst license?

You have to stop services or unistall Qlik Sense.
