Hi all

I have attached one sample file here..

pls could any one tell me where i m going to do the change for the comparison of the company to the any industry.

I m using set analysis in the expression tab...

Hello,

I think you shoul use such expr:

1) =sum({<CompanyName=>} GrossProfitMargin) for Industry Line

2) =sum({$<Industries=>} GrossProfitMargin) for Company Line

And you change your listbox from island field Industry on to field Industries

Hi sparur,

I want to select some of the companies and compare to the different Industry..

Consider i have the company wipro,Infosys under Software industry..

I m going to select Wipro an compare to the industry like textile or cement likewise..

so that i m using two list boxes for Industry one is having link with the companies,

another is not having any link,

Could you pls help me..

See the attatchment you have made a mistake over there while selecting the field fro indusrty list box.

Instead os industries you have taken industry as the value in the list box ..

Hi sparur,

I would like to show the selected companies and industries as separate lines..

that is each company should be dispaly as each line in the line chart...

in single chart,we need to show the separate line for the selected company and industries...

Could you pls tell me how to use this formula for industry in the chart...

(sum(total <CashYear, CompanyName> NetCashFlowOperatingActivity)*(sum(total <CompanyName> Depreciation)/sum(total <CompanyName> ProfitBeforeTax)))/

sum(total <CompanyName> NetCashFlowOperatingActivity)

the above formula used in the company....

i dont know how to use the section access in this formula....
