It might be not your main-issue but if the call servername/qlikview failed and ip/qlikview worked it meant that your DNS server didn't know the servername and needs to be updated - related to this have a look on the group policies in your company there could be further settings which are directed to your previous domain.

- Marcus

To update your DNS server you need to go to your network admin - it's just a mapping from an IP to a name (which people could be better remember). Further think to the possibility that other configurations like group policies might be to be updated, too then quite often applied the IT a strategy that everything is denied unless it's explicitely allowed.

- Marcus

The login dialog is a challenge that is forced upon the browser by the web server/windows platform. AFAIK it has nothing to do with QlikView

The domain may have changed, but has your QlikView server machine joined the new domain or is it still located in the old domain? Like Bill stated, the DSC may be able to query the new domain and find users, but the Windows server software will not grant access to anything it hosts because QlikView knows about the new domain.

If your QlikView server has already joined the new domain, did you restart the machine?

Peter

Dear Peter

Many thanks for your reply!

The QlikView server is connected to the new domain as per confirmation from Network Admin.

We have restarted the QlikView services post that. We will try restarting the machine and try logging to the Access Point. .

Thanks & Regards

Chintan
