How to identify Unused Variable

Hi Team,

Can anyone help me with how to identify list of unused variables in a qlikview application.

We have already used application optimizer , but Application Optimizer is not able to identify the variables used in calculating another variable (Nested Variables). Hence application optimizer is not able to identify all the variables specially the nested once.

You can use Document analyzer to identify some of the variables unused

Thanks for your reply.

We have used document analyzer version 2.5, where we faced problem with nested variables.

As per version 3 change list, I cant see any update regarding "Variables" part, hence assuming problem will remain the same.

As I said, the current document analyzer don't show the nested variables used in the application .

Is their any other way to figure out unused variables in application, Cant find even any macro for it.
