Reuse QVD files from QV server to QS server

Good evening community,

I want to access QVD files to load data with QlikSense.

Actually I'm using also Qlik View and I would like to reuse the generated QVD which are located on another server.

The problem is that I cannot reach the QlikView server with IP address (10.x.x.xxx) by creating a new connection folder from QlikSense.

Appears a written "invalid path".

I'm administrator in both machines and i have all rights.

The strange fact is that the same process made with Qlik Sense Desktop runs quietly!!

Try mapping that folder to local server and use the mapped drive

when you mapped your path, for example

X:\QVD

What happens? Can you access that mapped folder using windows explorer?

Yes i can access quietly from explorer.

I can't reach it with QlikSense via web, i don't see the mapped folder.

If i write X:\QVD in the form to create a new connection folder, appears "invalid path" the same
