Rest connector to get Google Analytics

Hi all,

Now I am trying really hard to get data out of Google Analytics.

I have spent few hours in GA set up as I don't have much knowledge there.

Now I have issue in QV.

i have below message when i hit Test connect button.

I did exactly same thing from my own machine than server and I could get data using Rest Connector.

can anyone give me a tip?

I could find one of your valuable comment in other discussion about HTTP get. however, Google doesn't like that way unfortunately.

Hello, it seems to me that could be something with your local network configuration. Do you have some proxy configuration? That could be causing some issues between GA and QV.

actually there is proxy setting.

I had exactly same issue when I used QVsource.

I could resolve it by adding few lines in config file.

however, I can't find same file with REST connector.

I am not too sure where to look now. I have tried things that I could.

I could successfully extract all Google Analytics data.

this extraction include GA data for 16 different web site with 7 different queries for each web site.

below is good starting point to get rough idea how you can plan this project.

however, it is not very complete package of immediate how-to solution.
