set analysis expression to return most recent records from selected date(Month Year)

Hello,

I'm FOB (Fresh Off the Boat) with Qlikview. I'm really struggling understanding the concept with the set analysis and how it works. I have a list of records below. If I select the end date of April 2010, I would want a list of customers with max(order_date) <= April 2010. Can someone help ? Thanks in advance.

a	2-Jan-10	XYZ
