First install qlikview in your machine and use reference manuals as well as help file

Go to community -> getting started with qlikview from there download and install qlikview software

Firstly You install complete qlikview setup .

there are three option

1 - complete

2- default

3- typical

if you will choose complete option then you get examples of qlikview application.

you read reference mannual from this path where you will install your setup like this

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Documentation\qlikview reference manual.pdf

Well im also new in QV. When i got problems i type it in Qlikview Community Forum or just hit F1 in QV.

I would also strongly recommend that F1 help menu as it gives allot of good information when it comes functions and objects your unsure about. I would also recommend the API guide.
