Clear All button not working.

Hi ,

I have got a QVW application. When I select anything in filter in development file and click on clear all button on top panel nothing happens. on the other hand when I right click and select 'clear all selections' it works well. in there anything to activate clear all button.

Click on the down arrow next to clear button and then click on Reset Clear State and this will fix the problem:

Piyush,

Go to Sheet Object --> Button --> Actions Tab --> Add --> Clear All (Choose from Selection)

Then try, If Clear all is not working on menu bar from the App.

Please follow that..

You can set the current selection as a default selection during the Clear State. Meaning when ever you click on clear button on the menu you can default to certain selection

When you want to set the selection click on "Set Clear State" and when you want to reset it click on "Reset Clear State".

they maybe use it to get their personell filters , when starting the app....

Hi,

If you have correctly configured it to clear selection as mentioned in other replies on this post.. Pls check the alternate state of the button (which is set to clear selections)..

follow the below steps..

1. Right click on the button.

2. Select Properties.

3. Check the Alternate State

4. Ensure it is set correctly. i.e it should match with the alternate state of the objects where you want to clear the selection.

** Just in case you didn't understand the 4 part.. try changing it to possible values... by selecting it through the drop down menu and see which one works for you..
