Hi,

I am extracting and translating SQLs into QVDs and then further manipulating those QVDs into their quasi-final shape.

For the final build of the app, these ETL-shape QVDs are loaded and have a couple of processes run (generally a couple of things like cleaning nulls, adding flags, joining a couple of extra fields etc. - this isn't done in the pre-final qvd's as I am using them for staged releases of a dashboard).

The question is, is it more efficient (or does it make any difference at all) if I re-store the final shaped QVDs and then use a final-final QVD instead of using a mostly-final QVD and modifying it?

Cheers,

Lee
