Creating variables in a table using values from load script

Dear Qlikview user

I would like to know if it is possible to create variables in the load script within a table and the variables reference fields already loaded in on a previous tab

Am I right in thinking I would need to use the peek function here?

What is it exactly you are trying to achieve?

You can use the peek function to get a value into a variable, but it is the part about another table i am not understanding.

If you are trying to get one value from another table then i would be looking at something like applymap.
