Hi Everyone,

I am using D3Dynamic Tree Layout Extension ,I have created hierarchy based on Designation.I want to show Count of employees in each level based on Designation.

Please find the attached file.

Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

May be you can try ?

In a Bar chart

Dimension: Designation or Empname (Which describes the designation)

Expr: Count(EmpID)

Hi,

I've tried various formula in the standard data but obviously the extension will only display the data for that point.

I think you somehow need to calculate the number of employees that the manager has and load this as a field, which you can then use this in the 'measure' column.

Shouldn't be that tricky to do

Something sort of like this, but currently this will only give you direct reports, not a full count of the employees underneath, sorry its monday and my brain isn't fully up to speed yet

Ok this is a really dirty example, but you should be able to improve it for your needs!

Probably as Title isn't unique in your hierarchy, I think you were better using EmpID.

Have you tried my method using the belongs to hierarchy?
