Table BOX Vs straight Table chart

Hello everyone,

I would like to know the difference between a table box and a simple table. because when I use a table the amount is not correct but whene using a chart table box the amount is correct. I am really so confused..

When you say simple table? do you mean a chart table?

Also how are they different?

Hi Master Student,

In a table box you only add your fields and you can all the values. In a simple table you have a dimension and you can see diferents values or expression for this dimension.

Like below a table box just shows the data as loaded.

On the chart object what expression are you using?

straight table can display photos in the cell while simple table or pivot table can't !!!!

A tablebox won't show duplicate records respectively combinations of field-values. In a table-chart is this generally the same but with an expression like sum/count(value) you will add/count all values.

Table box will give you the loaded value. Here, you can not play with your values by adding expression.

Whereas in chart tables you can do so. Expression for almost everything add/sub or color change , mini charts and many things.
