Hi,

The problem is Office365 not being supported by QlikView as it requires a connection via SSL/TLS.

Even changing the QVManagementService.exe.config to UseSSLForSMTP=true wont work with Office365.

To get around this you can use a program to sit between your QlikView and Office365 called Stunnel.

https://community.qlik.com/message/441383

Follow Bill Britts post at the end of that link, and the guide he posted to setup the program.

He's guide shows the config for gmail, but for Office365 you can use the following options

[office365-smtp]

client = yes

protocol = smtp

accept = 25

connect = smtp.office365.com:587

This worked for me from QlikView desktop (with the mail settings set to Authentication Method=AUTH LOGIN)

And worked from the QMC on our server.
