From Month & To Month ?

HI All,

I need to create a simple report, based on Sales like sum(sales).

My point is I am having month in the data, i need to see From Month & To Month filters in Qlikview.

Kindly find the attached excel file.

How can i achieve it ? Kindly help me on this.

This can be done quite easilly a number of ways.

Either just create a list box with the range of months in it, which the users can select the months they want.

Otherwise have two variables, monthfrom and monthto, let the users select these and then use these in the formula with set analysis

Create 2 calendar object and in the properties assign the start and end variable to those calendar...it will work the same

I need to see From Month in one calendar object & To Month in another calendar object.. based up on the selection need to see the months of Data.

But sort option is not available, Months are coming randomly. how can we do .

not alphabetically, It should be from Jan, Feb,Mar,.......Dec .. Like that order

Hi Helen,

If you're adding them manually then as far as I know it should just list them in that order.

However if you're using the concat function then you can add a third parameter to do the sort so in my example file above:

=concat(distinct Month,',',Monthno)

obviously changing the separator as necessary
