QV- SAP Data Auto Reload Set up

Good day,

A friend of mine who is an SAP consultant in a firm wants to have a set in the office where all the data in the SAP system to automatically be pushed into the QV dashboard and the data will be refreshed automatically (let's say everyday)

My question are:

Is it possible? What are the rquirements to build this systems and the estimated cost.

No.

If you realise that an average SAP-system has between 30000 and 80000 tables, some of them quite large, and (incrementally) refreshing the most important ones may already take between a couple of hours and half a day, you may be facing a multi-day refresh of your QlikView environment if you really want "all the data in the SAP system to automatically be pushed into the QV dashboard". Who wants to have a dashboard that is always lagging by a couple of days?

But I think that is not really what you are after. Can you refine your question? Which SAP-modules is your colleague/customer using and which need to be tracked in QlikView? An automatic update of QlikView dashboards loaded with SAP data is perfectly possible, even multiple times a day. But you need to separate the stuff that makes sense to load in QlikView from the stuff that is better left in SAP.

Let's me refine my questions,

Let's say SAP FICO, MM, SD modules

How can he implement a set up that picks data from this modules and automatically refreshes the QV dashboards.

Can you explain how this can be possible ( you can send me links as well as pdf)
