Forced exclusion in set analysis

Can someone please explain the concept of Forced exclusion (the symbol '~') in set analysis? When do we use this? I did not understand this concept from the help manual.

Thanks for sharing that. But I am looking for the force exclusion operator '~'. In the help manual, ii is given as:

"Finally, for fields in and-mode, there is also the possibility of forced

exclusion. If you want to force exclusion of specific field values,

you will need to use “~” in front of the field name"

I am trying to understand what this means?
