CSV files with new additional columns?

I'm aggregating a lot of CSV files on a daily basis, we're reading the same files every morning.

However on wednesday the developers of the system added some additional columns to the CSV that we want to use in Qlikview. However the system crash when I'm adding the new columns since they don't exist in the older CSV files.

Is there a way in Qlikview to check it a column exist or not and if it does save the data?

I don't think there is a way to validate if the column exists... My solution to this problem would be loading all fields using "*" and a prefix "CONCATENATE" and then reloading in memory, performing any necessary renaming, calculations, etc...

Another thought - I'd think of a way to organize historical data in QVD files, thus reducing the variability, and improving speed.

Maybe this could be a workaround (where column C is part of Tabelle2.xls but not of Tabell1.xls):
