I have quite big and complex load script whose table structure shows a synthetic key with some fields. I read about a method called 'Remove Syn keys using concatenate & Link table'. But I think i may not apply this technique in my script since I am loading fact tables with where clauses. Any other effective technique to remove synthetic key ?

TIA,

James

Hi, the reomove of syn keys always depends on your data model. Could you please post some example of any exact problem? That way would be easier to hep you.

Best regards,

Andrés

Hi James,

You cannot remove Sync Tables from where clauses, there is only one way, and it is modify your data model.

Generate new keys an rename fields to remove it, do not use where clauses.

Thanks!
