Pie chart Number format

Hi,

I'm using the following to format the digits. and i'm trying to add & 'k EUR' at the end of the formula. it works for normal table but not pie chart.
Is there any workaround for this to have the currency unit at the end?
i can't use the function in NUMBER tab, because the formula is actually within several if statements for different currency.

NUM(SalesContrib,'# ##0.##' , '.', ' ' )

because I created a small example and I see that it works fine in pie charts too.

Thanks! it works! i didn't know i could use it like that.

Now, another question. In PRESENTATION tab, under SHOW LEGEND, i checked the box Show Number in Legend, the digit appears. how do i include the label of currency?

Unfortunately, in my version of QlikView (9.0 SR4) it doesn't work too...

I see that legend doesn't use Number Format in Expression.

numbers in Legend will change only if you change format in Numbers tab in the properties of chart object.

I don't know what is it, Bug or special feature...

so, You should change format pattern in Number tab for your expression (see 2nd Variant pie chart) in this attachment.

I did almost the same way, but for the legend, instead of setting it in NUMBER tab.

i use Text in chart object. so, it's just a text label i place on top of legend, thats my workaround for now.

PS: I'm on SR3 now, a bug was reported, related to search engine that always gone missing. and the fix is in SR6. Just in case, if you need a head-up watching out for this although i'm not sure if it's already fixed in sr4.
