Play sound in AJAX

Does anyone know how to trigger sound in AJAX?

For example, i have list of songs and need to play a song when a user selects a title...

Looking for a solution without the use of macros (plugin is not an option).

This extension might help you. It is a Video player extension.

But if you want to upload just sound then it has to be .wav file. I believe Qlik doesn't support Mp3 files, maybe you can convert those .wav files to .Mp3 format and upload.

I've never tried myself but you can give it a try. And you can also find an attachment to video player extension object.

You can also use Button for this

Button>Actions>External>Launch>Select the Audio file

But it will actually open in a media player. Again I've never tried this in access point.
