OLE DB Connection error 2111

Hello Guys,

I am facing this issue with OLE DB only when I run the task through QMC but locally connection string works fine and able to derive data from oracle

Error:

10/25/2016 3:41:15 PM: 2111 OLEDB CONNECT*Provider*XPassword*

10/25/2016 3:41:16 PM: Error: ErrorSource: Microsoft OLE DB Service Components, ErrorMsg: Class not registered

10/25/2016 3:41:16 PM: General Script Error

10/25/2016 3:41:16 PM: Execution Failed

10/25/2016 3:41:16 PM: Execution finished.

Please suggest me with alternatives

I think that some configurations on the connection are missing/wrong - take a look here: Connectivity to Oracle Database.

Hi All,

I have tried ODBC and it's very slow in fetching data.

Please help me install drivers for Oracle 12 c connectivity with QlikSense, as post installation I can't see 'Oracle provider for OLE DB' in providers list. Please let me know the steps as I will be doing this for first time.

I have done the same thing, it just that I have tnsnames provided by DB team. But still no luck.

Oracle for OLEDB not showing up in providers

Please help me!!

Maybe there are any issues with access rights by the installation or there are certain system-requirements for the installation maybe a NET. environment higher as x.x or something like this ... Maybe others which have also an oracle-db in use could give you more hints.
