topic DayNumberOfYear function in QlikView

Good day all

Can someone please explain why Qlikview uses 366 days for the DayNumberOfYear function and if there's any way of getting around this. E.g. if I'm looking for number of days when February ends on the 28th I still get 366, shouldn't I be getting 365?

Thanks and looking forwards to the responses.

Matlotlo

Totally agree. I just ran into this design bug with our master calendar.

Now I have to use calendardate - yearstart(calendardate) + 1

As the Sicilian would say - INCONCEIVEABLE!!!
