    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can we achieve carry forward values in a pivot or straight table, the simplest example I can think of is an Annual budget ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jan,Feb,Mar etc&lt;BR /&gt;Opening bal&lt;BR /&gt;Income&lt;BR /&gt;Expenditure&lt;BR /&gt;Closing Bal&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ie Closing Bal for Jan becomes opening bal for Feb,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ColinR&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
