Hello Didier,

Hope that you are doing great!

You can make use of Alternate State feature. To fix this issue please follow given steps:

1. Go to the Document Properties (Ctrl+Alt+D)

2. Under General Tab, Select Alternate States Button; Add two new states - Tab1 & Tab2 and close the Document Properties.

3. For the list boxes present under first tab set the Alternate State to Tab1 (General Tab of List Box)

3. Also, for the list boxes present under second tab set the Alternate State to Tab2

Please refer attached application.

Regards!

Rahul

Selections in "Global" listboxes can still be applied to the global document selection state.

Every object that depends on the default or inherited-with-a-default-parent state, will react to whatever selection you make in "Global" listboxes (i.e. without custom state). You can import these same "global" selections into your custom alternate states using set analysis. The best of both worlds.

However, I don't think there is an easy way to decouple-and-remember selections without alternate states.
