Hi,

I have a business requirement where I need to track student information and completion of certain activities. But, these students have certain dimensions that change over time. For example, a student may be in City1 school branch and completed an activity on say 01/01/2014 and got transferred to City2 and completed the same activity on 01/01/2015. Now, the user has the option to input a certain date in the qlik dashboard and all the dimension related to the students must be as of the date entered in the dashboard. For example, if a user inputs 01/01/2014, all student information must be as of 01/01/2014 and any activity completion count should be aggregated by City1 and if the user selects 01/01/205, then all information of students must be as of the entered date and the aggregations should be by City2.

I tried looking up to Interval match, hash function, etc.. but any practical example would be helpful. If not practical example, any other approach to this issue will be appreciated.

Thanks!
