Hello Guys,

I have stored MY DATA for 2 years in a qvd file. My data is by month. the data of this month get ready by 31 dec. How I program the load of the new data?

How to develop a task on edx so whene the data in database is ready, a reload task will be lanched automatically.

After your old script place

ADD keyword

then load your new tables

then save then go to front end then click on file select Partial reload

your application now reload with new one and already you have old data right

You can use the incremantal reload logic for the QVD. Below doc has list of links which can help you to understand it.

Before using the incremental design, please understand your data whether data is being updated or only insert or insert, delete,update.

His requirement is once data is ready in data base schedule task should run automatically to reload the application.

without any communication between database and Qlikview server how task will trigger? my answer is not possible.

But Mr. BAKER, if your data is ready on end of the day of every month then you can schedule the task.

Any thing wrong please let me know.
