QlikView Shortcut should open document from server

Hello together,

Is it possible that by clicking on a QlikView Shortcut the client will be started and a document from server will be directly opened?

I would like to avoid that the user needs to click on "Open in Server" and so one.

That is probably not possible. May be you can think of an alternate of allowing download of the qv file from the access point instead.

yes

open the model as qvp in the qlikview desktop

then click on file in the menu tab and press save link

Thank you for your help.

I found by myself a solution for me. When the Server Document is opened in a QlikView Client you can create a "direct link" via "File/Save Link". This will create a shortcut which open directly the document from server.
