Dynamic Update doesn't work with initial data reduction option

I've noticed that when the "initial data reduction based on section access is checked" then I cannot perform dynamic updates from Ajax clients.

If I uncheck the initial reduction then the update works again perfectly.

I've tried to check some other discussions related to this problem with no help.

Can someone please help me with this Issue?

Hello Eyal

Dynamic Update is not intended to be used by end users via the AccessPoint using AJAX client.

The intended usage of Dynamic Update allows a QlikView Administrator to

feed limited amounts of data into a QlikView document
from a single source
without running a reload of the document

Dynamic Update is not intended to be implemented

by the end users
through the clients connecting to the QlikView Server
In a QVS cluster

Sound to me like a true bug that you report as a WAD (work as design).

I guarantee you the information I provided previously came directly from Qlik R&D. If you feel that the issue is a software defect, then please report it to Qlik Support so they can interface with R&D for you.
