Hi,

In one of the QlikView exam, I have faced below questions for which I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

1. Un encrypted communication in QlikView is between (Not sure if the below options are exactly correct !)

(1) QMC – QVMC (2) IE to Webservice (3) Ajax (4) QV_ to QVP

2. QlikView works on ____________________

(1) Synchronous (2) Asynchronous (3) Hybrid (4) None

Any explanation for these is much appreciated.

Communication between the Webserver (QVWS or IIS) and Qlikview Server (QVS) are encrypted;

Qlikview is Asynchronous;

Thanks for referring to resources Gareth. I have gone through most if the Security documents. But, haven't read anything about Unencrypted communications within QlikView. Except for PDF Mails. Where PDF's are not encrypted.

IE to web service would be unencrypted unless you implement your own SSL certificates, otherwise it is sent in plain text.
