    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, you are right it changed only the title of the document within the desktop client or the browser but not within the access point list.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think there is no native option to change this but maybe an adjusting alike this one: &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-7551"&gt;Scrap the long QlikView URL – use a friendly URL instead&lt;/A&gt; or a direct manipulating of the access point html- and/or js-files could work. In each case the link of the application must be a valid link with the file-extension of a qvw but the displayed name for it should be changeable. Should you consider to change the qlik-files I suggest strongly to make backup's of them before and if it worked to backup the changed one too, than each upgrade will overwrite them again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Marcus&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>Qlikview AccessPoint</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Currenlty on my AccessPoint,my document appears titled as 'Application.qvw'&amp;nbsp; Is there a way in the Qlikview Management Console to re-name the application to that when it is loaded on the AccessPoint, the application appears as just 'Application'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

If you really want for Accesspoint, Why not to go with Our production folder to change (Any problem to change the file name on Production Server)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No you cannot do this in QMC while loading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think all application on access point will appear with .qvw extension only.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;@ marcus even if u change like that,in access point upon opening file tht top panel is not visible to users I guess.Its directly tabs they see.Correct me if wrong&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sachin.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
