Hi All,

Can we get Predefined name of Excel when using Export to excel(default functionality). As in developer I can define the name required in object ID and the same is the name of Excel when i use export to excel, with - Objectname_YYYYDDMM_hhmmss format. But in access point i am getting some random number as - 342e19012fae22b7a9ed0efbc34e213f.xls.

Can anyone help me to get predefined name of excel without using Macros.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Akshay

AFAIK this isn't possible - you respectively your users will need to do this naming-step manually. Maybe by printing these object (it appeared within a seperate window), copying it, pasting in an empty excel (the object-title remained and copying them) and then using them to store the excel-file. I must admit this are a few steps more than necessary but it takes only a few seconds.

- Marcus
