Rounding Issue in Total

I have the attached data created in a staight table in QlikView. If i perform normal sum, it is giving me 469.4, whereas the total is giving me 472.2

Can you guys help me in fixing this issue.

The expression in my report is Round(Sum(MyFieldName),0.1). The Number format is expression default.

What does this mean? Are you summing the rounded values in excel after exporting the table from Qlikview to Excel? There's no fixing that issue if that's the case. Either don't round the values you export to excel or don't sum rounded values in excel.

Are you using dimension limits in the straight table? If not please post the qvw document so we can see what's going on.

Attached is the sample app where i'm expecting 468.9 or 469. But Total is 472.2

The expression you're using gives a different result at the chart level then the sum of the row values. It's not a straightforward sum, but the product of a sum and a count divided by another sum. Change the Total mode of the expression to Sum of Rows and you'll see the result you expect.

Unfortunately my bar chart does not have dimension. Please help in this case

Then decide over which dimension(s) you think the original expression should be aggregated. My guess would be the dimensions of the straight table.

Thanks for the help. I will use the lowest grain level dimension.

Also thanks for reminding me this sum of rows issues which i forgot long back:)
