Activate trigger on sheet one time

Hi Guys,

I have a sales sheet which has an trigger that's activating an bookmark when selecting the sheet.

But this needs to be doen only once. When leaving the sheet to other sheets and switch back to the sales sheet, the trigger with the bookmark should not go off.

Can this be done? Preferly without macros.

Did you tried OnLeave trigger ? on sheet properties?

Hi,

Why dont you use the On Open Trigger at application level.

Meaning, when you open the application the trigger will be fired.

But what needs to be define? Deactivate bookmark?

I do think bookmark makes same selections.

In this case on leaving the sheet you just need to Clear All selections.

There's no easy way to tell the system to fire the trigger on first selection and not on subsequent ones, so you will have to manage state through variables and a combination of triggers. Although you might be able to get something like that working its likely to complicated and possibly unreliable.
