      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;QlikView is build on the premises that if your calendar is correctly linked to your main fact table, selections in any date or year field should restrict and show your only those dates or years which has been selected (unless and otherwise you have set analysis which tell them to now adhere to the selections).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Year, Value&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2010, 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2011, 20&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2012, 15&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you select 2012, you will only see value = 15, others will just hide&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
